				Property Description

Detached 3 bedroom 3 bathroom well presented country house close to the village of Cañada de la Leña which is on the Murcia/Valencia border and just 10mins drive to all the amenities in the town of Pinoso. The property has a garage, store room, small private swimming pool which needs to be modernised, a plot of 1,114 m2 which is landscaped with garden areas , off road parking and completely fenced. This country property house has a large kitchen, spacious living room with fireplace, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and separate toilet plus a covered terrace. There is a store room which is currently used as a utility room , garage for a single car and a small private swimming pool (in need of mondernisation). The property and garden are well maintained in all areas. It has mains electricity, mains water and septic tank and walking distance to the village (5mins walk). Internet connection is no problem. Cañada de la Leña is a lovely rural and quiet area but just 10 minutes from the town of Pinoso which has shops, supermarkets, sports centre etc. Alicante airport and beaches are approx 50 minutes drive. The village is more of a hamlet, but has a mobile medical service arrive in the village one a month along with a weekly street market. The town was developed by a family of woodcutters (hence the name Leña which translates as firewood!). The economy of the village is based on agriculture, livestock and wine production but is more residential now with a small number of houses alongside the village church and a bar/restaurants. Typical of all Spanish villages, it has annual fiestas (held here on the 16th July in honor of the Virgen del Carmen) and the typical cuisine of the area reflects its close proximiy to both Murcia and Valencian.
